Instructions
- Grill the Peaches: Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Brush the peach halves with a little olive oil and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are slightly charred and softened. Remove from the grill and let them cool slightly.
- Prepare the Balsamic Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey until well combined. Set aside.
- Assemble the Salad: Arrange the mixed greens on a large platter or individual plates. Place the grilled peach halves on top of the greens.
- Add the Burrata: Tear the burrata cheese into large pieces and place them around the peaches. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the salad.
- Garnish and Serve: Scatter fresh basil leaves over the salad and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts or sliced almonds if desired. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Choose ripe but firm peaches for the best flavor. You can grill the peaches ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator. Assemble the salad just before serving to keep the greens fresh and crisp. Customize your salad with additional ingredients like cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, or avocado.
