Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Tortilla chips or celery sticks for serving

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven heats up, shred your cooked chicken breast. You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience or poach your own chicken breasts. Make sure your cream cheese is softened at room temperature for easier mixing.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and blue cheese (if using). Mix gently but thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Reserve some cheese for topping if desired.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheese if you saved some. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown around the edges.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Top with chopped green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

For best flavor, use shredded chicken that you've seasoned well during cooking. Adjust Buffalo sauce amount based on preferred heat level. Can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance and also works well in a slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours.
